At Type Camp Galiano – August 9-14, 2009 – differing and convergent approaches to typography will be presented in a relaxed but structured program over five amazing days. Spots are still available for this incredible experience!
Type Camp instructors this year are Dr. Shelley Gruendler, international typography instructor (and founder of Type Camp), Stephen Coles, type director at FontShop, well-known typographic expert Tiffany Wardle (aka “TypeGirl”) – and a visit from international type superstar Marian Bantjes.
All four will share their professional processes and typographic knowledge to help you become a better typographer and designer.
There are only a total 14 spaces available! Your registration form and deposit will hold your space. The camp site this year is at The Perfect Retreat. Type Camp also has the wonderful chef and famous author, Linda L. Richards, returning this year so they can promise you'll be well-fed with local, organic, super-yummy food.
Galiano Island is situated in the beautiful Gulf Islands of British Columbia.
