And the gold medal goes to Winnipeg's first PechaKucha Night - the inaugural event set the bar high for what promises to be an exciting and entertaining series.
PechaKucha Night Raises The Roof!
GDC Manitoba introduced our fair city to the PechaKucha concept last night, and indeed what a show it was. The Park Theatre was packed and raucous as a dozen dettermined speakers presented on their craft. It was an amazing evening - and sets forth an incredible rolling ball of momentum as we prepare for the next PechaKucha Night on Thursday May 20.
The PechaKucha Night organizers, and all of us at GDC Manitoba headquarters, wish to whole-heartedly thank our 12 amazing presenters and everyone who came out to see the evening unfold.
Watch for further announcements this spring as we ramp it up for round two!
