Portfolio 2: Portfolio Speed Review – Tuesday May 25th 2010. Vancouver Photo Workshops, 14 West 7th Ave Vancouver

 

Held over 2 dates, this event series is designed to put Art & Creative Directors, designers, portfolio housing specialists and printers face-to-face with CAPIC Vancouver's photographers & illustrators, and through doing so, foster collaboration and communication about the work being produced in Vancouver.

 

Portfolio 1 will have a panel of Art & Creative Directors participating in a discussion about how to build a portfolio that will showcase your work, what Directors want to see (and what they don't) and how to professionally and properly present your work. Before and after the event will also showcase local suppliers, including portfolio housing specialists and printers, to give you options on building your book.

 

Portfolio 2 will see photographers & illustrators being paired up with Art & Creative Directors for speed portfolio reviews of about 5 minutes. Get face-to-face feedback, ask questions, and make connections, all in one evening!
