Quick Homes Superchallenge
Darren Carcary, April 13, 2010 at 8:43 AM

Architecture For Humanity Vancouver will be hosting a 1-day Design Charrette at the InterUrban Gallery. Shipping containers are the key component of this design challenge. This design charrette is not merely an exploration of its form and typology, but an ambitious yet appropriate initiative that integrates hardware, software and logistics.

AFH Vancouver believes that adequate shelter is a basic human right, and that by navigating the constraints and challenges associated with this task, housing the least privileged provides an opportunity to demonstrate both creativity and social responsibility.
