A few esteemed words from our PICA host – Laurie Rosenwald
Andrée-Ann Thivierge, April 07, 2011 at 2:48 PM

“Hello my name is Laurie Rosenwald. I’m a New York Jew. I look sort of like this. It can’t be helped, but I have many other qualities, some of them fine. At least I can draw.

I teach a workshop called “How to make Mistakes on Purpose” and some Canadian graphic designers enjoyed it so much that they’re flying me to Banff to be “emcee.” I am not sure how to spell this. Banff is a funny word, too. One of the reasons is that there was a spontaneous dance party after the workshop and they’re hoping this will happen again. I told them quite clearly that you can’t plan a spontaneous dance party. Nevertheless, they keep hoping it will take place at exactly 10 PM on Monday in the dining room. These Canadians are a very hopeful people.
