Every year the Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) puts on this event which spans a 24 hour period of creative fervor. The GDC selects a handful of worthy and interesting charities to create work for. A select group of creative directors are chosen to lead a team of creatives. In the past some CD's bring their own people, or decide to choose their team from the volunteers we receive each year.
THIS YEAR we would like each CD to choose and bring their own team of creatives. This creates a great PR opportunity for local Calgary firms to participate in aiding a deserving local charity and work along side of others in the industry. We would also like to have two Visual Communication students per team to provide a mentoring experience for the student. We are hoping that Creative Directors and designers are interested in creating a team and showing off their skills for a good cause.
