Creative Mornings to Vancouver

Started in New York by Tina Roth Eisenberg,Creative Mornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee! The program has experienced great succes and participation and has spread throughout the world including Zurich, Los Angeles, Berlin & London. As of September 2nd, thanks to the efforts of Mark Busse, Vancouver will be a part of the international program and the first Canadian city to participate.
The mornings consist of a light breakfast, a 20 minute talk by a guest speaker, followed by another 20 minutes of questions and dialogue. Vancouver's first event will kick off with Flickr founder Stewart Butterfield, one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people. The event will take place on September 2nd @ 8:30 at Creative Mornings event sponsor W2 Media Café and is co-sponsored by Langara.
Tickets are available at 11:00 am on August 29th and are limited to 150 seats. Stay tuned and get ready as tickets are expected to sell out very quickly. More information on tickets can be found here.
