Jim Rimmer Community Scholarship for Design – Call for Entries

The Jim Rimmer Community Scholarship for Design is awarded annually to two students, or student groups, who demonstrate the use of design thinking to benefit their community and effectively communicate a message, affect action and promote change. 

SCHOLARSHIPS: 

Two $1,000 scholarships from Hemlock Printers Ltd. 

DETAILS: 

Submission Deadline: November 7, 2011

Judging: November 9-15, 2011

Scholarships Presented: November 18th, 2011 at Practivism 4

Once completed, please print and send your application form along with all the requested supporting materials to:

Your completed application form must include: 

  •  Completed Application Form.
  •  Visuals supporting your solutions. Depending on the status of the project this may include concept drawings, mood boards, web links, photos, or samples of the finished work if completed. Submissions must be presented on boards no larger than 9x12, and can include printed samples or digital outputs. Provide digital works via a web link or on CD or DVD and accompanied hard copy print outs of key screens.
  • Proof of enrollment or graduation within the past year (Fall 2010/Spring 2011) in a BC design programme for the applicant or group of applicants.
