I am a graduate of the three-year graphic design program at Red River College (1998) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and am currently working as a Creative Director/Account Manager at The FaQtory, which is also located in Winnipeg.

Upon graduation from RRC, I started my career at Idea Marketing Group in Winnipeg. There, I worked on a variety of corporate print and web materials for a range of clients that included Parks Canada, Standard Aero, The Boeing Company and MTS Allstream.

After two and a half years at Idea Marketing Group, I joined The FaQtory as a Graphic Designer and initially worked primarily within the web department. Within two years, I was given the chance to expand my talents on the print side, where I then worked as a lead designer for Investors Group and School Specialty Planning & Student Development, as well as designing for a variety of other clients.

Since that time, I have continued to move forward within the company, taking on roles such as Art Director, Creative Director and Account Manager. I am a member of The FaQtory management team, and take a special interest in growing an inspiring, nurturing and challenging environment for the creative team, as well as taking care of human resources issues.

I am grateful for all of the experience that I have gained while working at The FaQtory. My skills now include creative direction, print design, product design, web design, photo shoot direction, client consultation, communications, presentations, quoting, project coordination, scheduling, creative team management and mentoring. I am an organized creative, and get equally excited over well-written briefs, great concepts, colour coded to-do lists, compelling words and visuals, happy clients, and the satisfaction of a job well done.

A Professional Member (MGDC) of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, I am greatly inspired by the talented and dedicated creatives who make up the Chapter and National Executive.

I am into photography, design, art, reading, music, travel, African drumming, mountain biking, camping and anything outdoors – combine all of those together, and I'm one happy girl.
