They say “You can’t judge a book by its cover.” Well, Chip Kidd doesn’t judge books by their covers–hecreates covers that capture the essence of books using humour, creativity and deep respect for the author and storytelling process. You know a Chip Kidd book when you see it, precisely because it’s unexpected, non-formulaic, and perfectly right for the text within. Chip Kidd invites us to consider the marriage of literature and design.
