Step 2:
Fill out our online membership application form. Ensure you include all necessary information. You are required to pay a $160 membership fee.

You will automatically be accepted as an Associate Member. To get Professional Membership you are required to submit a portfolio for our next review. Portfolio reviews are held twice a year in April and September, for exact review dates please check our website.

Put together your portfolio if required. Portfolio requirements vary on type of membership.

Professional Membership (MGDC): Enclose the remainder of your membership fee, a detailed resume with your completed Membership and Portfolio Information forms and a minimum of seven examples of your work, printed or digital.
Licentiate Membership (LGDC): Enclose the remainder of your membership fee, a detailed resume with your completed Membership and Portfolio Information forms and a minimum of five examples of your work, printed or digital.
Properly mounted and presented portfolios or well presented and organized PDFs are required.
