Join your GDC colleagues, to hear what the Atlantic chapter has been up to this past year and listen to a great presentation on the life and work of Jim Rimmer FGDC.

The GDC Student Portfolio Night, held May 31, was a great success. This year it was held at the beautiful NSCC campus in Dartmouth. All 16 students were recent graduates of NSCC’s graphic design program’s waterfront campus. Their portfolios were reviewed by local design professionals Kimberley Dunn, Katie Goodz, Cameron Jantzen and Grant Tomchuk. A big thanks to our Student Representative, Thom Knowles, for encouraging his fellow classmates to come out for the evening critique. As Thom says, “It was a very beneficial evening for us.”
The Moncton GDC Design Talk on Intellectual Property saw equal attendance from both the on-line and in the restaurant.
We had a great turn out at The Hub in Halifax for our Student Portfolio
Review night.
Thanks to our professional members who volunteered their time to graduating students. We hope the students found this event beneficial.
We'll be holding another one in the fall....look for information in September!
