Getting certified, is a great way to raise the bar for yourself, encouraging you to grow as a designer, and show your current, and prospective clientele, or boss that you take your profession seriously. There are also many membership benefits, such as member-only RFPs, free online portfolio hosting, group rate insurance plans, free subscription to Applied Arts Magazine and discounts on events, competitions, publications, software and services. The spring portfolio review submission deadline is March 31, 2010. A PDF version of the Membership application and portfolio submissions forms is available to be downloaded.
