Reflections Vancouver 2011 is founded on a collection of 30 student paintings and works of art depicting familiar local scenes and landscapes, and extends through a popular calendar designed and produced entirely by the students, as well as a series of greeting cards featuring the artworks. As a team, the students manage the entire initiative, from design and production through marketing and sales.

Everybody's heard of personas, and many have tried them (with more or less success). Tamara Adlin will talk about the things that make persona efforts work, and the things that all but guaranteed to derail any persona project. This event is presented by the Society for Technical Communication - Canada West Coast chapter .

Icograda and the GDC are inviting everyone participating in Design Currency: Icograda Design Week in Vancouver 2010 to contribute to a silent auction in support of Architecture for Humanity's reconstruction work in Haiti. Architecture for Humanity co-founder Cameron Sinclair will be a featured presenter at Design Currency 2010 on 28 April.
