Logo for Cooperative in Rwanda
PreviousPlayNext
COVAGA is a cooperative of weavers who extract an invasive plant (known as the water hyacinth) in order to reduce its negative impacts on the waterways of East Africa. They take the plant fiber and weave artifacts to create an economic opportunity. This logo was designed with a co-design methodology where the client participates directly in the design process. To allow the cooperative to have an immediate and affordable marketing tool, a rubber stamp was created to brand their products. A website was also developed: http://rwanda.ecuad.ca/about.html
