You're awesome. We're awesome. Let's get together and bask in our awesomeness. Did we mention barbecue? Free burgers and hotdogs? Bocce and croquet? Trout Lake on a gorgeous summer evening? Yes, we know that sounds good!

Whether you're a member of GDC/BC, CAPIC, BCID, SIGGRAPH, TAAC, IXDA or SEGD you need to be there for the 5th annual Associations Summer BBQ. Because, let's face it, we're a little less awesome without you.

WHO: You and your family (the two-legged kind and the four-legged kind are both welcome).

WHEN: Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 6:00-9:30 pm.

WHERE: Trout Lake Park | Picnic Area Pavilion (located in the SE corner of John Hendry Park), Vancouver. View map here.

Bring your own liquid refreshments and, ideally, a reusable drink container – like previous years we’re aiming to make this event as sustainable as possible. Compost and recycling bins will be provided.

And please RSVP here to help us ensure we have enough food for everyone!

Gordon will discuss World Expo planning and execution principles gained over his four decades of experience, as well as Shanghai 2010 and Edmonton's bid for Expo 2017.
