The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) is the self-regulatory, professional body for graphic designers in Ontario. The association grants graphic designers who qualify the right to use the designations Registered Graphic Designer and R.G.D., a quality signal denoting attainment of standards required for professional competency.
Created by an Act of the Ontario Legislature on April 25, 1996, the association was formed through the amalgamation of the former GDC chapters in Ontario and was a Member Association of the GDC until October 2003.
