The SIAST Scent-Safe program was an awareness initiative to improve understanding across the campus community of the impacts caused by the use of scented or perfumed products in a shared environment. The goals were both to heighten awareness of the problem and to discuss some very 'doable' solutions. To reach both students and staff on every campus, a campaign was created around the notion of scent-free scratch 'n sniff stickers. Stickers distributed to everyone created a visual identifier, while supporting materials gave more information.
