Were you or someone you know planning on joining the GDC or upgrading your status?

Due to some changes with membership categories on the national level we will be holding the 2010-2011 GDC SaskNorth Portfolio Review in December this year. The submission date for portfolios is December 10th, 2010, as the reviews have to be done prior to January 1st, 2011.

If there is interest we will set up one-on-one meeting with experienced CGD members who can help with the curating and development of your portfolio. For questions, concerns, or to set up a one-on-one meeting, please contact Josh Nagy, GDC Sask North Membership chair at or call at 306-381-6779.

Are you ready...for Saskatchewan design to take hold?

Maybe you’re ready to have YOUR Saskatchewan design take hold?! Well, we’re ready too – to showcase the talent this great province holds, that is.

The Elevators 2010 Annual Conference is in progress. Our lineup of renowned judges and speakers, and your peers, want to see your work on Saturday, September 18. The Design Competition awaits your entries!

Dust off those files you’ve been hoarding over the past year. It’s time to show someone (besides immediate family) what great designers, composers and right-mind thinkers are at work in this province.

Submission requirements are now up on our website, http://www.elevatorsawards.ca, so you can check out the categories and begin planning your entries. But don’t delay, because the deadline approaches. I~~t’s September 3, to be exact~~. UPDATE: Submission deadline has been extended to September 8.

Check out your work, select the best, and get those entries ready. We want to see you at Elevators 2010, and we also want to see your work.

Don’t be shy! Let’s show what this province can do. Join in Saskatchewan design taking hold. UpRise to the occasion!

Elevators 2010 Planning Meeting - Tuesday August 24th

Want to Elevate design in Saskatchewan?

Participate in the planning of the Elevators 2010 conference on August 24th, 2010 at FLINT, 5:30pm

Things are rolling along but we still need your input. Come by, bring your ideas, and find what you can do to help.

Elevators 2010 will be held September 17th at the Broadway Theatre.
