Mark Busse CGD posted this hard-hitting article on Design Edge this past month and has agreed to allow us to repost it here. The GDC is currently working on a policy document and guidelines for internships and will be publishing them in the coming months in time for the next school year.
This is a slightly edited version of what I had written in response to a post titled Thinking Out Loud About Pro Bono, posted by Marie-Aline Oliver on the GDC listserv, on November 11, 2010.
