Creative Directors for Design-A-Thon include: Sheldon Popiel, Veer; Doug Driediger, Metrographics; Anders Knudsen, RedPoint; and Ben Kunz, Ben Kunz + Associates/Mount Royal College. Why participate? to increase public awareness of the value of graphic design to build a strong creative community to promote the skills and talents of individual designers to give back to the community Who can participate? If you are a creative professional or student in Calgary or Alberta South, we want you! We are looking for photographers, writers, production artists, web developers, marketing professionals and illustrators. A creative team will be assigned to each project. Each team will be lead by come of the most talented and well-reputed Creative Directors in the city. How do I get involved? Email your name, phone number and email address to GDCdesignAthon@gmail.com along with a description of 150 words or less detailing your background, strengths and weaknesses and the compelling reason(s) why you should be selected to participate. Participants will be chosen based on project requirements. We will select as many applicants as possible, however there are limited spaces available, so get your application in today! If you are interested in volunteering, please apply by March 10.
