GDC SKN Portfolio Workshop
In anticipation of portfolio reviews to be held in January, GDC Saskatchewan North is holding it’s first ever “portfolio workshop” Saturday, November 15 in the basement of the Hotel Senator.
There will be two sessions to the workshop. These sessions are intended for designers who are considering joining the GDC or are current LGDC members who are considering upgrading their status to MGDC. People are welcome to attend either or both of the workshop sessions. Admission is free.
The morning session will feature presentations about the GDC and the application/portfolio review process. Portfolios from GDC members will be available for viewing and there will also be a question and answer period.
The afternoon session will consist of one-on-one portfolio critiques with GDC mentors who will assist potential candidates in selecting work for their portfolios and discuss application options.
