Vintage poem and Canadian letterpress typography to commemorate Canada Day.
GDC National Corporate Secretary Naoko Masuda CGD spent Friday and Saturday with Walter Jungkind FGDC, May Chung CGD (past VP Education) and Willa Dair scanning and photographing all of the stuff WIlla has that belonged to her father Carl Dair FGDC. She also had some of her own work (which was equally beautiful), so she documented that as well.
One of the pieces was timely, and Naoko thought that it would be nice if we could share it for Canada Day.
It's a poem from 1915 by Kenneth McInnes & Morris Morris Manley, and is printed by A. Suddon at "The Falling Sauk Press" in 1965. It is courtesy of Ms. Willa Dair.
