Victoria, BC: The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), Vancouver Island Chapter recently announced the establishment of the Cady | Marshall Scholarship, in honour of two GDC Fellows, Peggy Cady and Michael Marshall.
The scholarship will provide three $500 student scholarships to encourage and support students in their design education and will be awarded in January each year by the chapter.
Peggy Cady FGDC, of Cady Graphics, is currently National GDC Past President and is a former president of the GDC Vancouver Island Chapter. Michael Marshall FGDC, of Marshall Associates, is the founding president of the Vancouver Island chapter. Both have made significant and generous contributions leading to the strong growth and success of the Chapter.
The Chapter is proud to hounour these two individuals with this scholarship program as a legacy to their work on behalf of the Society.
