Rock Award for GDC National Annual Report
Vancouver Island awards competiton recognizes GDC's 50th anniversary publication

The GDC National 2005-2006 Annual Report “Designing Canada for 50 Years” was awarded a Rock Award in the Vancouver Island competition on May 24, 2008 in Victoria.  Click here for a list of all the awards. This is the second award for the book, which received an IDA award earlier this year.

The book features iconic Canadian logos many of which were designed by past and present GDC Fellows. It was part of the celebration of the GDC’s 50th anniversary year and has garnered praise and attention from designers and design educators across the country.

The report was designed by Suburbia Advertising, Victoria, BC.
