With over 1,300 members in nine chapters across the country, the GDC is the voice of professional graphic design in Canada.

When completing the online form, select the chapter in your region and the appropriate membership level. If you reside in a region not listed, you can join the GDC as a Member at Large (at any membership level). If you are unsure of which membership level to join, please click here.

Professional CGD (Certified Graphic Designer) membership requires an application and portfolio/case study review. If you are applying for CGD membership, you will be given Provisional membership until you successfully complete your application and portfolio/case study review. Further information including the portfolio/case study review criteria will be provided after you sign up. There are many more benefits for professional members—so apply for your portfolio/case study review soon!
