Acceptance into the professional membership category requires a confidential review of case studies of your work by the Standards Officers of your local GDC Chapter. (For Member At Large applicant's work samples are sent to any one of the nine local Chapters).
Start your application process today by checking the date of your Chapter's next case study review on the Chapter pages and completing the submission requirements form above. Let your local Membership Chair know you are applying to ensure you don't miss the submission deadline!
If you wish to speed up the application process, you can join online as an Provisional member and upgrade to Professional at the time of your Chapter's next review. When you want to upgrade, let your local Membership Chair know. You can pay the difference in fees by cheque to your Chapter Membership Chair, or by credit card to our National Secretariat.

To become a Certified professional member of the GDC applicants are required to submit a membership form and resume as well as undergo a confidential case study/portfolio review.
