A designer with the MGDC or LGDC designation is recognized across Canada as a highly qualified professional with an excellent standard of work and ethical business conduct.
How do I become a certified professional member of the GDC?
Acceptance into the MGDC or LGDC membership categories requires a confidential portfolio review of your work by the Standards Officers of your local GDC Chapter. (For Member At Large applicants portfolios are sent to any one of the nine local Chapters). Start your application process today by checking the date of your Chapter's next portfolio review on the Chapter pages and completing the submission requirements form (found at http://www.gdc.net or from your chapter’s membership chair). Let your local Membership Chair know you are applying to ensure you don't miss the submission deadline.
More about evaluation criteria used by Standards Officers and tips for portfolio preparation coming soon!
