GDC offers two kinds of membership. Professional (Certified) membership is available to designers who meet the GDC criteria. A portfolio review is required. Associate membership is open to all and can be achieved in a few clicks. Review your options here.

- All members subscribe to the objectives, general goals and code of ethics of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.
- Membership in the GDC is open to Canadian citizens, residents of Canada or Canadian citizens working abroad.
