Call for Entries

GDC Atlantic compiles a list of design contests and competitions as a public service for our members and clients and publishes it in the GDC Atlantic eNews. In no way does GDC Atlantic endorse these contests and competitions by publishing this list.

Submissions for the Call for Entries section of the GDC Atlantic eNews must be made before the tenth day of the month of publication. GDC Atlantic eNews is published six times a year — January, March, May, July, September and November.

GDC members do participate in contests and competitions where their previously commissioned work is judged. 

Job Postings

Job postings are displayed on the national site in the Job Board Section and additional promotion can be done locally by request. 

Postings to the Job Board are free for GDC members or companies employing GDC members. Postings are competitively priced at $175 for non-members — all major credit cards accepted.

Remember, ask for the “CGD” credential for certified professional designers with 5 years or more experience.

Requesting a Proposal

Looking for the most appropriate design firm to work with you on your new identity, website or communications strategy? Post your RFP on the national project board for free.

The project board is a service open to both clients and design firms to post projects for free.

Postings are only visible to GDC members who must log-in to see what's posted. (See: For Business > Members Only > RFP Postings)

Clients are encouraged to follow best practices as promoted by the GDC, including no-spec requirements (See: About Contests and Speculative Work), and of course, to look for the CGD (Certified Graphic Designer) designation before hiring!

Classified Ads

Classified ad are displayed on the national site in the Classified Ads Section and additional promotion can be done locally by request. 

Listings are free for GDC members, or companies employing GDC members. Non-members can post an ad by sending the listing to  or by phoning toll free 1-877-496-4453. Each ad posting is $20.00 — all major credit cards accepted.
