A reflection of the best designers in Canada – Graphex 2010

It's that time again... we are full swing with Graphex 2010 submissions!

This year we encountered a few issues with timing, Icograda Design Week planning, the Olympics, etc. but now Graphex 2010 is ON! The first submissions are in, many are coming and we are thrilled to be on “Graphex watch”.

For the first time submissions are online so the process its easier and more efficient (taking less printing and less prep work that in previous years); the categories were revised to be more accurate and relevant; Graphex winners will be showcased in the biggest and most important design event in Canada in 2010... what else could we ask for? well, maybe your submissions and support.

This year we aim to showcase you: Canadian designers. Without you this community could not be possible. When Hangar 18 came to us with the concept of the "Reflection of the best in Canada" it was the perfect approach to a year of community building and professional struggle. It just made sense that this year Graphex should be about you, about us, the design community and what we bring to the table.

This is what Sean Carter and his team presented as part of their rationale "The theme for this year’s awards wants to determine what Graphex truly represents. What came out of this analysis was a simple idea that Graphex is not just any award show, but a true reflection of the best designers in Canada. It is a celebration of the people who bring ideas to life and the community where they exist in".

We truly believe this and hopefully we'll get your work on the winner's circle. So take a look at the Graphex site that Domain 7 helped us put together and give your best work a chance to reflect the value of design.

Remember, this time you don't need a printed Call for Entries form to submit your work.

CALL FOR ENTRIES DEADLINE: January 25, 2010

(A special thanks goes to Phil Chin and all the volunteers who helped with getting the site up and running. This is why this community rocks!)
