THIS SATURDAY, April 24th, 2010 is the GDC/BC ICOGRADA Design Week POGO Conference and we want to ensure students know about and attend this amazing event. There is no better way for current students and upcoming design professionals to connect with the design community then our portfolio critique. At almost all the past POGO events, each student sat and spoke with everyone on the list. Look at the list of this year's participants!

No printed portfolio, no worries! Bring a fully charged laptop with your work on it. Online registration ends tomorrow with limited tickets available at the door, but no guaranteed spaces. See you there!!

PORTFOLIO CRITIQUES

The GDC/BC ICOGRADA Design Week POGO Portfolio Critique is open to recent graduates aspiring to enter into in a career in communication design and to students currently enrolled in a design program. Leading industry professionals will be in attendance to provide insightful and constructive advice to attendees about their current portfolio. This is a great opportunity to practice 'real-world' interview skills and receive honest feedback from industry professionals in a non-competitive environment. This is an amazing opportunity for students to network with the who's who in the Vancouver design community.

The GDC/BC ICOGRADA Design Week POGO Studio Tours provide the opportunity to check out some of Vancouver’s hottest creative environments and one of GDC/BC's supporting supplier sponsors (TBA).

Sign up, get a guided tour and see how each of these firms think about their work and their space. The studios selected for this year's tour are AldrichPears Associates, Engine Digital, Science World Design Dept. and a facility tour of Western Canada´s premier carbon neutral, sustainable, eco-friendly Hemlock Printers!
