The Alberta North Chapter is extremely proud to present PICA 2011 – BEYOND: the un-convention – a design conference that openly eschews the ordinary and any other euphemism for business as usual.

Planning is ongoing and logistics are still being calculated, and we are making leaps and bounds for what will be a design conference like no other! Our conference host is the wildly talented, and extremely entertaining, Laurie Rosenwald (rosenworld.com).

Our inspiring line-up of speakers include:

• Armin Vit (co-founder of one of the most frequently visited design networks underconsideration.com),
• Randy Hunt (Interaction Designer at etsy.com and the founder of citizenscholar.com),
• Blair Enns (founder of winwithoutpitching.com and a business development consultant to marketing communication agencies),
• Felix Beltran (an expert in branding design and Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, México), and more to come!
