The GDC BC Mainland Chapter has been recognized for its 18 blood donations in 2011 through the Canadian Blood Services' Partners for Life Program.

Lower Mainland members have been loyal supporters of this program since the Chapter joined in 2007. Donations have increased each year with 11 units being donated in 2009, 14 in 2010 and the new high of 18 in 2011. The Partners for Life Program is a great way for GDC members to contribute to a vital cause without spending a cent.
Every donor feels a sense of pride and accomplishment in making this commitment, and it only takes 30 to 45 minutes of time. If we added just two more donors who made four donations each in 2012, our donations would increase significantly. Consider making your first donation through our Partners for Life Program or, if you are already a donor, please join our team and make your donations count for the GDC.

The GDC BC Mainland Chapter challenges other chapters across Canada to set up a Partners for Life Team and use the power of our numbers to help Canadian Blood Services in their vital work that saves lives every day.
