With the 2009 National AGM in our rear view mirror, we are now looking forward to realizing many of the goals and aspirations we have set for the coming year.

Among the achievements of the AGM is the adoption of the Sustainability Principles by the GDC, a new generation of National GDC Scholarship winners, and our latest to join the esteemed status of Fellow of the GDC: the abundantly deserving Sue Colberg.

Sadly, we mourn too soon the passing of GDC National Secretariat Founder, Hugh Noble. Among many other personal and professional achievements, “He contributed a lot to help make it all happen, and our profession is better for his generosity," recalls GDC Ethics Chair, David Berman, FGDC. He will always be fondly remembered for his energy and inspiration.
