PechaKucha Night: Winnipeg, Vol.3: Endless Summer Edition

Come one come all! GDC Manitoba is proud to bring another amazing edition of PechaKucha Night to Winnipeg's Park Theatre. It's a free and unique event on August 26 that promises entertainment, excitement – and an amazing slate of local talent presenting on a diverse array of creative ability.

On the heels of back-to-back Peg City editions of the popular PechaKucha movement, GDC Manitoba is letting fly with a scintillating third installment. Hot times in the city!

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network and to show their work in public. But the concept has since turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit chat"), it rests on a presentation format based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds – keeping presentations concise and moving at a rapid and entertaining pace.
