Vancouver, B.C., is the hub of all things design this month, as the GDC National Annual General Meeting (April 23-25) slides nicely into one of the industry's biggest events in 2010. Design Currency 2010: Icograda Design Week in Vancouver (April 26-30) offers designers, business leaders and government the opportunity to experience current design thinking. For those attending from our province, GDC Manitoba invites you to meet up with our traveling delegation in Vancouver. Give us a shout!

Food and refreshments will be served. Bring your invitation (coming soon; check your mailboxes!) to Industry Night as admission for you and your guests. Be sure to bring your business cards and enter to win fantastic door prizes! If you can't make it that evening, the exhibits will remain on display through the evening of May 7.

Robynne Raye's presentation begins at 7:00pm.
The University of Manitoba's design thesis students are hosting their show on the same evenings (May 6-7), but don't let this conundrum fool you -- it's actually an incredible opportunity to view both shows, as the UofM students' exhibition will be held just down the street in the second-floor space above Mondragon (91 Albert Street). Double your fun!
