*Practivism = practical methods for radical sustainability in design

The Society of Graphic Designers Canada, BC Chapter has invited Michael Ellsworth, founder of Seattle design firm Civilization, to share his insights on how to unify the social, cultural and environmental value of your work and show real-life examples of how graphic design can become a catalyst for change.

Michael Ellsworth

As a founder of Civilization, a design firm rooted in social change, Michael has built over a decade of breakthrough work for a diverse group of clients ranging from The Nature Conservancy, Frye Art Museum to the World Economic Forum, as well as self-initiated projects, such as Death Over Dinner, design podcast Beyond This Point, and the ongoing free Seattle Design Lecture Series.
