They say there are two seasons in Manitoba: winter and construction. Well, most of those orange construction signs have been removed from our roadways and we know winter’s coming. There is a way to keep warm in late November, though – put away your shovels for a few hours, stop worrying about the snow and join us at the Park Theatre for PechaKucha Night.

A brief recap of what PKN is:
It’s a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images.
The presentation format was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture. The first PechaKucha Night was held in Tokyo in their gallery/lounge/bar/club/creative kitchen, SuperDeluxe, in February, 2003. Klein Dytham architecture still organize and support the global PechaKucha Night network and organize PechaKucha Night Tokyo.
