If you’re already working in the Lower Mainland, considered an Adobe Creative Suite guru, highly organized and have an innate flare for bringing your client’s design ideas to life, this full-time position in Vancouver is for you! As our go to in-house graphic production person, you’ll join a nimble, experienced, fun and fast-paced communications team in supporting internal clients with a range of digital, presentation and print production needs. Position Summary
Reporting to the Director Marketing, Communications & Member Education you’ll support internal clients with a range of digital, presentation and print production needs including:

• end-to-end design and production and distribution of print and electronic publications and presentations
• producing and posting multimedia website and social media content on multiple digital platforms
• producing engaging multimedia presentations for Association leadership
• seamlessly taking collateral production requests from client concept to final production/publication
• coordinating and scheduling photoshoots and video recording sessions

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Experience
• degree or diploma in communications, graphic design, marketing or equivalent
• minimum two-years relevant experience in a fast-paced communications department/agency or equivalent

Skills
• advanced skill in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop required) in MAC environment
• proven proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (advanced skills preferred)
• proven ability to manage content in a CMS platform (SharePoint preferred)
• proven eye for good design, and knowledge of best practices in print and electronic production
• ability to create advanced PowerPoint presentations with animation and special effects, while retaining content integrity
• demonstrated experience in designing and delivering collateral materials on time and on budget
• excellent verbal and written English language skills including English grammar and basic proof-reading

Hours, Salary & Benefits
Our office hours are 8am–4pm Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends to attend scheduled meetings. The BCDA offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package; and, a commitment to employee development.
