Larry Burke has established a solid reputation in the areas of branding, advertising, marketing, and online strategies. He is active in the development of his profession as a Certified Graphic Designer CGD from the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (Atlantic Chapter), and has served as National Representative, and as President for the Atlantic region.
Larry has lectured in the Public Relations department of Mount Saint Vincent University and in the Division of Design at NSCAD University. He was featured as a guest speaker for the Canadian Public Relations Society (New Brunswick), the International Association of Business Communicators (Atlantic), the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Centre for Women in Business.
He has also served on the Communications Board of the Grace Maternity Hospital Foundation, is currently active as a professional mentor for the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Network, and served twelve years on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
Larry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design (1981) from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Larry’s work has been published in Marketing Magazine (Toronto), Tactics Magazine (Vancouver), Retail Ad World (New York), Business Voice Magazine (Halifax), Allnovascotia.com (Halifax), and Design EDGE Canada (Toronto).
